How to Change the Base Plate:

Follow these steps to replace the base plate on your Gasket Shears (Spare Base Plate Product Code: GKT03106):

Wear protective gloves and ensure the blade safety catch is on.
Loosen the hex fastening with a hex key to remove the old base plate.
Push out the retaining bolt.
Lift off the old base plate and replace it with the new part.
Push in the retaining bolt.
Brace the nut to stop it from spinning and tighten the hex fastening.
